Lumerica (https://lumerica.com/) is based in Warren, Michigan. Lumerica designs and manufactures LED lighting and accessories for LED lighting for commercial and industrial usage.
Lumerica’s existing site was not set up for eCommerce and had a bit of an outdated design. The goal was to modernize their design and transform the site to an eCommerce site on the WordPress platform. Lumerica is a great partner and had wonderful design input and really let us (Formcode) push the design boundaries, especially for a shopper site. The site functionality is set up to make it as easy as possible for users to find the product and information they are looking for and quickly add to cart and purchase.
The product pages are sorten in a way to allow the user to either start with a general landing page or go directly to the product they are looking for. This is intentional because people use websites differently and to educate new users while also making it incredibly easy for returning customers to get to their products as quickly and efficiently as possible. In addition to taking smart design into consideration, the Lumerica website, like all of Formcode’s builds, was created on a solid foundation of SEO principles to help the site gain visibility organically.
