Manresa Jesuit Retreat House  (https://www.manresa-sj.org/) is based in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Manresa is a  place house of prayer and reflection in the spirit of St. Ignatius of Loyola, for people to go to pray, for church service, and for Their mission is to serve all people who seek a closer union with God and growth in their spiritual life. They offer conference and individually-directed retreats and a variety of programs, as well as the Spiritual Exercises and Spiritual Companionship.

Manresa’s existing site had been stagnant for a fair amount of time which resulted in the event registration and donation collection not working as optimally as they would have liked. Additionally, Manresa was looking for some upgrades to the organization of their information internally as well as publicly through the website. Taking a mobile-first approach, Formcode streamlined both the visual design and updated the User Experience (UX) to reorganize how the information is presented. 

The goal of the site is to help visitors register for their various retreats and programs that happen throughout the year, along with donation collection, so Formcode focused on organizing the information to display Manresa’s offerings in an easy-to-navigate and user-friendly platform. The website was built upon a solid foundation of basic SEO principles to help aid in organic search growth that is fully responsive and displays beautifully on all devices.
