As a new business, Ballistic Motors approached Formcode to design and build a website for them. Their focus for the site was to build the Ballistic brand and give a peek at their first model. From a design standpoint, Formcode wanted to help the brand establish itself by creating a design that builds excitement and anticipation by having the headline animate in a cinematic manner. As you scroll down after the initial introduction there is some parallax added to add drama to the sneak peek reveal of the vehicle. Taking the background from space to the ground helps to anchor the opening scene.

The remainder of the long scroll homepage page was designed to show movement with parallax and add a silent, continuously rolling video to draw attention to the area highlighting Ballistic is building their team and actively hiring. Near the bottom of the long scroll, there is a form to get users to sign up for updates on the upcoming vehicle launch. Like all of Formcode’s site builds, this website was built upon a solid foundation of basic SEO principles to help aid in organic search growth and is fully responsive and displays beautifully on all devices.
