Ahhh the sense, the smell of a freshly launched website…. and the nice thing is you continue to bake these things, so that exciting aroma lasts for quite some time. Working in conjunction with The Collaborative Group, of which we are proud members, Formcode has just launched the first round of challengedetroit.org. More to come on the Challenge that will rock Detroit!
We have had the great privilege to work with a great organization and the fine people within that organization. Building complicated user interfaces (UI) isn’t always easy to do when your starting from within new territory or even a old and broken standard that has been standardized and deemed the ‘norm’. It may not be easy but we thrive off of that challenge, of building or rebuilding that landscape into something highly usable, comfortable and above all better. Here’s to our love of User Interface Design and User Interaction Design… functionality may be important but as the late Steve Jobs strived for beauty in a simple yet complex interface so so we.

So yeah, you heard it here first, we are now in the process of grooming the Velocity Cow website from a somewhat malnourished calf to a husky cow. Full on detroit website redesign for those mad-cow as they make their way down to their new offices in Harmonie Park. We’ve taken down the old site, plastered up a nice little temporary landing page in our transition process. Stay tuned, the cow will rise again!
Oh yes, we did. Rolled out some new creative banner ads for HiredMYway.com to promote the hell out of their job referral program. In our mind it’s all about engagement, intrigue and some good ol’ fashion who-haa sandwiched in between the layers (literally).
